Question: Are smart cars a smart buy?

I am about to graduate high school and my parents said they would pay half of the cost for my car. All my life I have wanted a hunter green convertible top two door jeep, and my parents are comfortable paying for half of one. But I have recently started thinking about a “vegetable car”, or a green smart car. But they are really small and really expensive, yet I think they are so adorable. I would love to know if I should get a smart car or a not. Thanks!

Well if you can talk your parents into half that is wow!

You also get money off your taxes and other things for buying a smart car. Hybrids are the same thing too. You get money for spending the extra money that saves you money on gas and things.

Question: Are politics why the electric “Smart Car” has been removed from U.S. market?

The had just begun in Calif. a couple of years ago and then every trace of them vanished! Did GM and Exxon plus the politicians do this? I want one today and have the money. Demand is high and supply is zero in U.S.
OMG, the extent of ignorance on this technology is shocking!
